Before all of this, I made a living by not taking things too seriously.
Upon learning that my business and I were excluded from any support from the government I decided to turn my anger and frustration into something positive and joined the #ForgottenLtd cause responsible for producing all the graphics.

Regional Champions

Members of our campaign who have volunteered to take the campaign to a local level – please get in touch here if you would like to represent your area.

Keith Seward – South West

Keith started Compass Video in 2016 to help business create relevant content in line with business needs.

I have been amazed at the ignorance towards, the soon to be realised, unemployment disaster that is going to happen when millions of furloughed employees find out that they do not have a job to return to. This has led me to take up the challenge to re-educate the ignorant, to highlight the injustice and to make the government realise that sometimes you have to spend money to make money, by becoming a regional champion for #forgotenltd.

Tim Gray – Yorkshire

Tim is a freelancer chef working under the company name xxxx

I took on this role to help myself and others in the same position to fight for fair equality and justice

Shelly Barratt- North Wales

Shelly is the Founder and Director of Real Ale Trails Company.
She lives and works in North Wales and puts on rather jolly events throughout the UK which entails taking people to rural pubs for rather special ales.

Anthony Duggan – North West

I have been a Freelance Quality Consultant providing my services since Sept 2007 working within the Aero / Defence/Space/Nuclear industries with many high profile clients.

At the beginning of 2019 last year I was forced to go from being a Limited Company Director to Freelance PAYE due to the impact of new IR35 Regulations coming in as legislation in April 2020.  Since then …NO Furlough/ No SEISS/ NO Grant/ NO BBL/ NO Income Support / NO CJRS.

It’s with a passion I see that justice is done and we are given the same parity as the self-employed for all Limited Company Directors including Freelance PAYE.

As a Limited company Director we have all paid our taxes over the years with surely some entitlement to help? Thankfully the #forgottenltd and other campaigns have been a breadth of fresh air.

Q7 Freelance Quality Solutions Ltd

Anna Byrne – North West

I’ve been in business for 18 years.

ACT Ltd and Meters2U are family run companies specialising in test and measurement equipment that operate nationally.

We are a true one-stop shop for test meters covering everything from electrical (HV and LV), temperature, pressure, gas, environmental and much more besides. Our services include on site calibration and training courses that include thermal imaging and fully accredited courses.

My businesses operate nationally and I am committed to ensuring the North West has a voice and that businesses in the area are represented during what are very challenging times.

James Kenning – South East

I have been in the TV and Film industry since 1988. I became a limited company in 2010 as many companies preferred me to be so – also monthly income was never consistent enough to pay myself PAYE.

In 2016 I started developing a new shaving cream which virtually eliminates razor burn and razor rash. It is refillable and all eco friendly packaging. It is due to launch early July 2020

I have taken on the role of regional champion because I hate unfairness and the way we as directors (and many others excluded from help) are being treated and portrayed by the government is beyond unfair. It’s active  discrimination and I will fight this to the end!
